How YOU can help:

DONATE ITEMS TO BE PACKED INTO SHOEBOXES
Collect items to be placed in shoeboxes, and return to the drop locations at the back of St. Peter, St. Boniface or St. Joseph by Sunday, November 16 ^th. Item suggestions (the Dollar Tree is a great place to shop for these items!): toys, socks, bar soap, combs, brushes, blankets, school supplies, toothpaste, crafts, coloring books, yoyos, musical instruments, etc? All items must be able to fit into a standard size shoebox.

GIVE
Donate $7 (see green gift tags at the back of church) to cover the international shipping costs and learning materials for the children receiving shoebox gifts.

PACK A SHOEBOX
Pick up a flyer on how to pack a shoebox. Complete the box and return it to church by December 16 ^th, so that it can go out in time for Christmas distribution.

Middle School & High School Students
You are invited to a SHOEBOX PACKING PARTY!
Sunday, November 16 ^th at 6pm at St. Peter
We will have an ice-breaker game, learn a bit more about Samaritan?s Purse and Operation Christmas Child, pack boxes and have a celebratory snack and prayer service. The EPIC youth group from Living Waters Church in Cameron, will also be joining us for this night of fun service! Plan to come with some items to pack and to have a great time!

VOLUNTEER
Students / Parents, ages 13 and above
We are organizing a group of 20 people to go over to the cities to work the Operation Christmas Child Distribution Center on Wednesday, November 26 ^th. Carloads will need to be worked out with friends and family. Patty Gerber will help to coordinate this for anyone wanting to help. The shift will run from 9am-1pm. Upon arriving at the center, everyone will receive a free t-shirt and training. We will work sorting shoeboxes, verifying that nothing improper has been packed, labeling boxes for gender, taping them up and then boxing them for shipment. Hundreds of workers will be assisting at this time. Thousands of volunteers will work this center, which is only 1 of many, and close to a million boxes will be shipped out from this center alone.
