Community Outreach

Be the Church - Change the World!

One important way we show the love of Christ to our neighbors is through acts of charity and service. Some of the ways we do this for our local, national, and global communities include:

• Contributing to special collections for various missions, such as Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Rice Bowl and Cross Catholic Outreach Box of Joy. 
• Conducting drives for donations of food, blood, and winter clothing, and providing gifts to local needy families at Christmas.
• Participating in ecumenical services, such as Thanksgiving and National Day of Prayer.
• Making our buildings available to serve community needs, such as Scouting and Alcoholics Anonymous.
• Volunteering at and donating to local non-profits and service organizations, including local food shelves in each of our parish communities, Cupboard & Closet in Barron, Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Rice Lake, Pregnancy Help Center of Rice Lake, and Benjamin's House Emergency Shelter.
• Ministering to residents at Meadowbrook nursing and senior living facility in Chetek.
• Raising funds for charitable causes through Lenten Soup Luncheons.
