ABVM Second Saturday Social - Wigilia

Everyone is invited to ABVM after Mass on Saturday, December 14, to observe Wigilia (pronounced vee-gee-lee-ah), the traditional Polish Christmas Eve, with a meatless, prepared meal. 

Before eating, all present share the oplatek (pronounced oh-pwah-tek), the Christmas wafer, a symbol of unity. All transgressions are forgiven and good wishes for the coming year are exchanged. Christ came to the earth and, literally, comes home to celebrate the festival of our salvation at the family table. Please join us!
