Weekend Mass - Rite of Enrollment

Today's Mass at St. Peter in Cameron includes the Rite of Enrollment for our second grade students who are preparing to receive their First Communion. 

As students are preparing to receive their First Communion, we introduce them to the congregation through the Rite of Enrollment Mass. During the Mass, the children in second grade are called forward by their teacher to be presented to Father and the congregation. Father gives a special blessing, the parishioners applaud the students, then the students return to their seats. 

It's a beautiful opportunity for parishioners to put faces to the students they will be praying for during this special moment in our students' faith journeys.
